About Me

Tall. Dark. Hugger.

Hi, I am Mijon (pronounced ME-John)

In my budding career, I have been called, "Fabulous", "Charming", and "Do you work here?". So, don't worry, it is only upwards from here.

I graduated from Williams College and live in NYC. While I was born in Rockland County, NY, I am a Barbadian-Zimbabwean American and actually grew up in Zimbabwe. I was a quiet child that had a knack for creativity and took well to music. By middle school, I came out of my shell and landed the lead part of the Pirate King in Pirates of Penzance. I took it very seriously and start to teach myself vibrato from the original cast recordings. After surprising my family and music teacher, Mrs. Riber, with a singing voice that had appeared out of thin air, I was told to keep singing and I haven't stopped since. No, really.  Most people hear me before they see me.

I am an actor, singer, writer, and creative with a serious funny bone. If I am not prepping for a play, TV, or film audition, I am doing something via the UCB Training Center to work on my improv and sketch comedy skills.

Outside of performing, I love volleyball, yoga, painting, cooking, and creating podcasts (my Rupaul's Drag Race podcast is a hoot!).
